ISMAEL D. DELGADO, FOUNDER

Ismael D. Delgado is a portfolio entrepreneur, who owns several related companies. His formal training includes a BBA from The University of Texas – Pan American and a Master of Science in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship from the University of Houston at Victoria. His professional background comes with over 20 years of experience working at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, formerly, The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA), in Edinburg, Texas, where he has provided economic, business, and community development technical assistance to businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Ismael has also served as the Executive Director for a local Economic Development Corporation, and was featured at the “2013 Border Economic Development & Entrepreneurship Symposium”, a U.S. Federal Reserve of Dallas and UTPA collaboration. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, teaching Economics at the Robert C. Vackar College of Business & Entrepreneurship (CoBE) Department of Economics & Finance. Ismael is a service-connected Disabled Veteran, Honorably Discharged with Military Commendations from the United States Air Force. He is a person of faith, happily married and has a son in college. He enjoys time with his family and his hobbies includes reading, sailing, fishing, and listening to music. He also holds an affinity for American midcentury modern-organic architecture, and Mexican, Pre-Columbian and modern Latin-American art and architecture.
